Im very picky about who I train with, I have my own ideas and I know how I want my dog's to run. I want people to watch my dog's run and think it look's smooth and controled and like they know and enjoy their job.
I don't like rule's, I like guidlines.
I don't like being told I HAVE to do something a certain way.
I wan't to know why.
I want to know that the person teaching me practices what they preach.
I want to learn techniques that can be adapted to different types of dog's.
I also want the trainer to care about my dog's saftey and long term health before results.
There are only a couple of people I will train with and Lee is one of them, ive booked him up for 4 day's of training over the winter so please take advantage of him being here, you are sure to learn something.
I was so looking forward to Chippenham, it was a great show last year and I would have loved Holly to have won again and gone into grade 6 next year. However I’m sure it was the right decision, I wouldn’t have wanted to run
my dogs on bad ground and it’s no fun when it’s raining.
This month has been and will continue to be really busy for me, we are running an instructors course this weekend, Mind to win the weekend after and then we will start winter training. I also have 3 horses in work 1 of which I need to sell, I also need to sell my van to make way for a bigger one for next year. So the dogs are having some chill out time, lots of cuddles and brushing and trimming, as well as lots of free running at home.
There are still a couple of spaces on the Mind to Win workshop, we invest allot of time and money in training our dog’s but if we get on to the start line and mentally fall apart then it’s all been wasted. I really believe that Katherine will help me and everyone else on the course.
Here’s a pic of Ty after running round at home for a bit :/
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
