The puppies are just over a week old and huge, the biggest is over 900grams!!!
De is such a lovely mum although it's clearly not as much fun as looking after another bitches pup's.
I've had Wispa 7 week's now but it feel's like she's been here forever, she just fit's in. She is very naughty though, she chew's everything and jumps on the other dog's. She has quite a stubborn side when I'm asking her to do something, she like's to think about things and see what's in it for her before doing anything.
I can't wait to start teaching her agility but she has allot to learn first.
I haven't quite mastered taking pictures of her black face yet :/
I have added a new page to the website so take a look!
The most exciting news is that we have puppies. De gave birth to 4 healthy pups on Friday morning, it was an un event full birth and I've never had a bitch clean quite as obsessively as she has, she is a perfect mum and very happy.
We have 1 girl which we will be keeping and 3 boy's who all have lovely homes.
Our next litter is planned for next winter, we are already developing a list of possible homes. Details are on the planned litters page.
Hopefully I will get my much longed for Ty pup from this litter ;)
Wispa is doing well, she has had some treatment at Smart clinic after hurting her leg and she seems more comfortable and is running much faster now.
Here's a video of her recall training on the beach today, she was quite tired by the time Irana reminded me to film it which is why I put her on the lead, I normally let her go and carry on playing in between recalls.
Ty is doing well after injuring his leg just over a month ago, he is having regular treatment at Smart and we are aiming to get him 100% fit for Crufts.
Here's a video I posted of Zazu and Flake's contacts, I'm really pleased with how Zazu's have been going, he seems to really understand what he's got to do. There's still allot more for both of us to learn but I'm enjoying the process.
Flake has been the victim of my mistakes so hers aren't as good but there not bad and I'm hoping to get them much better over the winter. I'm going to get her some treatment at Smart first though to ensure that she is feeling 100%.
Running contacts take allot of balance and co ordination and she need's her body to be able to do the right things all of the time or she will loose confidence.
Kev, James, Vivien, Ces and Team Bandit have all qualified, they are being held at Hand EC which is just up the road from me so I am hoping to go up and support them. It would be nice to see lot's of other people that train with me there to cheer them on as well, I can be pretty loud but not loud enough on my own :)
A few people having been asking me about a Christmas party, I'm thinking of having one on 14th December ( the day before our show) we can have a practice at running courses with more people around, have some food, drink and FUN and if the weather is looking bad we can go to the pub instead!
Let me know if you want to come :)
