'I am absoulutly loving my lessons, I hope you do it forever'
This is one of the compliments I got at the weekend, I received lot's more good feedback , I did 2 private lessons on Friday which went really well. I then had 6 hours of full groups on Saturday ,I had another 2 private lessons on Sunday then 4 more hours of group's, I'm really pushing people to do the best they can, I don't expect them to get the most rossettes or win the world champs but I want them to so the best that they can (athough if they do go on to win the world champs I'll be pretty damn chuffed). I expect all dogs to have some form of basic skills before they join a group, if they don't they go for 1 2 1's with my Dad first.
I want lessons to be fun and everyone to encourage each other but I also want evryone to know what their doing and how to execute it properly. When people I train go in to the ring for the first time its not rosstte that I want, alll I want is for them to enjoy it, to handle it to the best of their ability and for the dog to have fun and get lots of praise when they come out. What you willl probably find is that if you focus on all of these the rosettes will start flowing in anyway.
I also want everyone to get what they want out of lessons so if you have a suggestion or you feel you haven't got the best out of a workshop or lesson or even a guest trainer please e-mail or call me, as long as you are being constructive I will not be offended I will be greatful that you are helping me to achieve what I want.
I have a challenge for the next blog and I really hope anyone that reads this joins in :)
